The parking fee there is $5 per day, Monday-Friday, 4 am - 3 pm. Bart has a captive audience. It could institute dynamic pricing so that a few parking spots were always available at every station for those willing to pay. But if Bart did that, it should think about extending shuttle services or encouraging carpools to stations, so that many people would not be tempted to drive at all.
