Barbara Boxer, though rightfully proud of becoming a Senator, grilled Brigadier General Michael Walsh of the Army Corps of Engineers for calling her Ma'am. The title is one of respect, but apparently it wasn't good enough, so she insisted he call her "Senator." Senator Boxer would likely give payday loans now to make this go away.
