I wish they'd do this at VanNess & Hayes , as well as Market and Octavia. Drivers regularly jump red lights there, preventing people from crossing.

I think they need to do something like this at Octavia and Oak. I have to dodge cars here on a daily basis.

good idea. ironically though, in that last photo, the police appear to be blocking the crosswalk to hand out a ticket.

If people are complaining about bikes being unlicensed, that's crazy. I tend to complain about those on bikes who flout traffic laws (red lights, stop signs) but am smart enough to realize that a licensing process wouldn't really stem that tide. I also happen to be all for the towing of folks who are driving without licenses.

10 cars - no license. Amusing the anti-bike crowd will go so uppity about the fact bikes don't require a license, when there is such prevalence of unlicensed drivers...
