Safe and secure downtown bike parking is a major missing piece of bicycle infrastructure. Arguably, the situation is significantly worse in downtown SF than downtown Berkeley. Does anyone have more details as to hours and fee per use? I'm impressed BART is giving $77,000/year for a facility that is street level and may be used by non-BART customers such as students, bike commuters, shoppers on bikes, etc. This is great news!
