I would also like to point out that a coop can also be used to mean a worker cooperative. I work at Box Dog Bikes in San Francisco. I like the idea of making it a place to hang out, meet folk, work on bikes, etc., etc. and hope that selling some bikes helps 'em pull down a salary so they can keep it rolling (pun intended, of course!) along!
