I’m about to go to Denmark in about a month for my last college semester – 6 months! It will begin with a week staying around in Copenhagen, then going to school in Aarhus. So excited to get a bike there!

Funny you should name this post “Back to Civilization”. I visited Denmark in June, including a week in Copenhagen and a week biking around the country. As I still tell anyone who asks – now that I’m back in the US, I miss civilization. The US is so utterly messed up It was a real shock to the system to come back, even after 2 weeks, and I was miserable for months afterwards.

Thanks for this. My wife and I are deciding which European cities to visit this coming spring. Copenhagen is high on my list because I really want to just bike around and enjoy. I’ll pass this along to her.
