I guess I should add some tidbits .... Harrison is already a pretty clogged street at certain times (Monday through Friday evening rush hour and whenever there's a big event in San Francisco that attracts lotsa folks from outside of the city like KFOG Kaboom) and dangerous for pedestrians. There are quite a few babies and toddlers growing up in those towers along Harrison Street. Also, there are quite a few kids in daycare centers in the RIncon Hill neighborhood .... so, yeah, I'll be commenting on that item in the Transit Center District Plan negatively, but I tend to like most of the Plan very much (just don't toss the turdballs (cars) from Folsom onto Harrison please)

Related to this ... While I really like the Transit Center District Plan's pedestrian-oriented design, it pisses me off to no end that it suggests pushing traffic from that highway called Folsom Street over to Rincon Hill's current residential core (especially on the south side) along Harrison Street.

Physically separated bike lanes and neighborhood schools (for at least K-8) would decrease traffic in the this city by a huge amount. Many, many cars during the morning commute are people taking their kids to school.
