Don’t forget to come out for Sunday Streets this Sunday from 10 am – 3 pm in the Bayview. The route runs from 3rd and King to Bayview Park at 3rd and Carroll. And please add your favorite shots to our Flickr group.

  • This will be my first time volunteering. Definitely looking forward to it!

That neighborhood, where i used to live, probably went into shock with all the people walking and bicycling, instead of loitering. We shouldn’t confuse the local wildlife with all this community-oriented interaction.

Isn’t that kid’s Skuut put together backwards?

  • MikeD, your point?

  • It was one of the better streets, with an organized music festival. But attendance seemed sparse, especially in DogPatch. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iR5veUu1sxo

I think a lot of people are starting to view it as a novelty and have stopped attending. It’s really not pleasant to ride along a street disconnected from other people.

Critical Mass at least has a shared sense of experience, for all of it’s faults. I don’t get that with Sunday Streets.
