Write For Streetsblog San Francisco: We’re Looking For Our Next Reporter
Posted By Bryan Goebel On December 13, 2010 @ 4:14 pm In Streetsblog San Francisco | No Comments
The news that my colleague, Deputy Editor Matthew Roth, is leaving is still sinking in. His departure will no doubt be a huge loss for us. Matthew’s intelligent, witty commentary and his smarts on the issues shaped the blog’s voice. He co-founded Streetsblog SF and there’s no way it could have become what it is today without him. In addition to being a great reporter, advocate and colleague, Matthew is also a close friend and I’m going to really miss working with him on a daily basis. But we’re not losing him entirely. He will continue to provide occasional pieces, transitioning to a freelance position.
In the meantime, we’re starting an immediate search for a new reporter. We want to boost our daily content in 2011 and will be turning to our great community of advocates and readers for material. More about that next month. For now, if you know anyone who you think would be ideal for this position please let me know. Here’s my call for applications:
