Thinkwalks Social Justice Mural Bike Ride

Posted By Aaron Bialick On July 19, 2011 @ 4:39 pm In Events | No Comments

Join other bicyclists for a survey of more than a dozen murals addressing a variety of social issues. We’ll look at the art, the politics and the neighborhood issues, and we’ll examine public art organizing techniques, stories from your favorite murals, and the complex issues of expressing justice themes through art. Meet at Mona Caron’s Market Street Railway mural on Church at 15th Street at 10:30am. We’ll cover easy territory from the Mission District to the Castro with no steep hills.

Cost: $30. Scholarships available for those who need them.

RSVP required
