Thinkwalks Water Walking Tour

Posted By Aaron Bialick On July 31, 2011 @ 11:27 pm In Events | No Comments

From Thinkwalks [1]:

This is the deepest, wettest look Thinkwalks offers into the waterways that once coursed through the Mission District and the history of water in San Francisco. Do you love thinking about local creeks, wells, puddles, politics and ponds? We’ll discuss their meandering locations and ecology, their implications for the growth of SF, their spring sources and controversial origins. This is a long walk that attracts water history zealots of the best kind.

Please RSVP (using the comment/reply box below (call 415-505-8255, if it’s day-of-event).

Meet at Adobe Books 3166 16th Street at Guerrero. We’ll end at Clayton and Corbett near bus lines 33 and 37. 3 & 1/2 hours.
