    Tax on electric vehicles? I get the idea of making road users pay, but isn’t it the case that gas tax revenues generally aren’t directly tied to road expenditures, and that they’re not even close to being enough to pay for road infrastructure?

    Why punish people for being innovative and making a more environmental choice?
