    “Tom Nolan, chair of the transit agency’s board of directors, said the toll of the deficit should be distributed equitably to all the agency’s patrons, which include both Muni passengers and motorists.”

    Tom must of forgot when Muni riders got hit with 10% cuts across the board and parking meter extension was taken off the table by Newsom.

    Seriously. Does he think we’ve forgotten 2009 and 2010? Would love to see road capacity and operating hours reduced 10% this time around. I’m sure that would save some serious money on maintenance, in addition to the livability benefits.
