The SFMTA the Board of Directors’ approval of a two-year budget tomorrow hinges upon its decision to grant free Muni passes either for all youth or only low-income youth. Also tomorrow: A special guest is in town to speak at the second annual Silicon Valley Bike Advocacy Summit.

Here are all the highlights from the Streetsblog calendar ^[1]:

• Tuesday: SFCTA Plans and Programs Committee Meeting ^[2]. On the agenda are funds for pedestrian traffic signal and crosswalk upgrades and a separated two-way bikeway along the Marina Green ^[3]. The committee will also consider endorsing the Metropolitan Transportation Commission’s regional draft plan for transportation project investments as part of Plan Bay Area ^[4] as well as the CA High-Speed Rail Authority’s new plan for a Caltrain-blended Transbay Terminal extension. Staff will also present updates on the Central Subway project ^[5] and the agency’s spending plan for Prop AA ^[6] vehicle license fee revenue. 10:30 a.m.
• Also Tuesday: SFMTA Board Meeting ^[7]. The board will reconsider approving a two-year budget after staff lays out the impacts of granting free Muni for all youth. Also on the agenda are two-way conversions of Eddy and Ellis Streets in the Tenderloin, which were initially approved at a hearing last week. 1 p.m.
• More Tuesday: Silicon Valley Bike Advocacy Summit 2012 ^[8]. Streetsblog founding editor Aaron Naparstek is in town this week to speak at the Silicon Valley Bike Coalition’s second Bike Advocacy Summit, which seeks to “both inspire advocates of cycling and walking and provide them with the tools they need for successful advocacy.” 2 p.m.
• Thursday: Muni TEP Workshops ^[9]. Don’t miss your chance to weigh in on Muni improvements for the 8x-Bayshore Express ^[10], J-Church ^[11], and 14-Mission ^[12] (Outer Mission) lines this Thursday at 6 p.m. at the City College Ocean Campus. Another workshop in Visitacion Valley on Saturday at 10 a.m. will focus on 8x-Bayshore improvements.
• Friday: San Jose Bike Party – Sharks Ride ^[13]. Roll through San Jose to some tunes at this month’s Bike Party to celebrate the Sharks’ NHL victories and the city’s newly-approved downtown bike plan ^[14]. “The Sharks are in the playoffs; the forecast for next week looks clear and the city of San Jose is planning on installing a bunch of new bike lanes ^[14]. What’s not to love?” 8 p.m.
• Saturday: Green Connections: Visitacion Valley Greenway Walk ^[15]. Head out to Visitacion Valley for another ^[16] stroll to help the SF Planning Department envision “a citywide network of green streets that can be built over time, improving pedestrian and bicycle access to parks, open space and the waterfront.” 10 a.m.
• Also Saturday: SFCTA Oakdale Caltrain Station Study Open House ^[17]. Weigh in on proposals to build a new Caltrain station at Oakdale Avenue ^[18] in the Bayview (to replace the now-closed Paul Avenue station) as well as to replace the Quint Street Bridge ^[19]. 2 p.m.
• More Saturday: SF Bicycle Coalition Rec Ride: Parklet Tour ^[20]. Join the SFBC “on a leisurely ride to visit a handful of your favorite parklets (there’s too many to visit all in one day).” 1 p.m.
