    I think it’s good that your headlines regarding driver-pedestrian or driver-cyclist collisions avoid the passive and often misleading “pedestrian dies in collision with SUV” in favor of the more descriptive and often more accurate “driver kills pedestrian”.

    However, according to the article about the cyclist death near Forestville, the cyclist apparently swerved into oncoming traffic in the middle of the night without a light. In this case, saying “driver kills cyclist” seems a little unfair.
