    I understand why MT wants to keep costs low, but GGT’s cost growth has actually been really low.  It won’t be long before other agencies catch up and surpass MT and GGT, and then where would the transit agency be?

    Given the imminent arrival of SMART and their local shuttle program, I’d want to roll the whole North Bay transit system – Sonoma Transit, Sonoma’s city operators, SMART, GGT, Marin Transit, and the Golden Gate Bridge – into a single transit agency.  I really don’t want to see transit further balkanized in Marin. That would just be a tragic loss for the county.
