    In other news, free-parking curmudgeon Erin Sherbert has been promoted to online director of the SF Examiner, SF Weekly and SF Bay Guardian. Completely out of step with the editorials in the SF Examiner which argued FOR parking meters on Sundays last summer.

    That stretch of Third from (at least) Carroll through Evans is not big on the “share the road” scale of things. It often feels harrowing when I ride it. Hopefully the injured cyclist is OK. It would be nice to see some sort of better accommodation made for cyclists that doesn’t depend on the kindness of drivers (Apologies to Blanche).
