    I’m glad the SFMTA is instituting evening metering near the ballpark, because all curbside parking is routine filled shortly before 6 pm by mostly overnight parking.  Impossible to visit friends in the area without taking 1.5-2 hours of poor transit there and back from the northeastern section of the city.  As a consequence of that poor transit, we often drove, only to walk about 7 blocks from a parking spot to friends’ home near the stadium. The fact that one yearns to use a car to get there in the evening underlines how more frequent and fast transit needs to be to in order connect that part of town with the rest of the city.
