8:30am meet, 9:00am ride out, Peet's Coffee, 2257 Market St. at 16th St
Come join Different Spokes (DSSF), the San Francisco Bay Area's GLBT cycling club for our monthly Jersey Ride, held the second Saturday of each month. All are welcome. The ride offers different distance and level options. The ride starts from Peet's in the Castro. There are three options so you can go at your own pace and distance. The rides split and regroup in Tiburon where we have lunch together as a group. Rain cancels. Details: www.dssf.org Contact or RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org
Meet at the corner of 18th & Dolores
Where was the city's first amusement park located? What street did the railroad run down? Which park sits upon a disinterred Jewish Cemetery? These questions and so many more will be answered on the Mission's Secret History Bike Tour.
The SFBC's Cultural History tours and Recreational Rides are free for SFBC members (a $5 donation from non-members is appreciated.) Rain cancels rides. Questions? Email email@example.com
2:00 pm to 3:00 pm
Meet at Duboce Bikeway at Market Street
Each second Saturday of the month the SFBC Bike Buddies hit the street to acquaint new riders with common or challenging bike commute routes in San Francisco with a Route Ride. An experienced bike commuter leads these rides at an easy pace; new riders are encouraged. In April, familiarize yourself with the Wiggle, one of San Francisco's most famous bike routes, connecting Market Street to Golden Gate Park, NOPA, the Richmond and the Sunset. The ride will begin and end at the Duboce Bikeway. Heavy rain cancels. Email firstname.lastname@example.org for information.
