Join the Oakland City Council as they ride into work and celebrate Bike to Work Day with thousands of cyclists in downtown Oakland.
 The event will feature: a pancake breakfast, valet bicycle parking, bike safety checks, free goodies, a raffle, and rides to work with Oakland Council members and staff.

Oakland Council Approves Protected Bike Lanes on Telegraph Ave

The Oakland City Council voted unanimously Tuesday to approve a road diet and parking-protected bike lanes to Telegraph Avenue, eliciting cheers from East Bay bike advocates.
