Re: Parkmerced accident
What do you expect in such a horribly designed community with intersections built so that cars don’t have to stop? They’ve endangered everyone (and wasted space) going through there for the precious convenience of not having to stop and look… especially in a place where you have so many pedestrian students walking to and from class and home. It’s a nightmare no matter what mode of transport you’re on.
I’ve also been cut off on my scooter, and fell off trying to avoid it. The resident driver told me it was his right of way because this is how he always proceeds every day. Luckily a cop was passing by to negate this absurdity.
“Who in God's name cares if the light was green or red? Why is this grieving woman (of probably limited financial means) arrested and stigmatized so easily? Meanwhile, go ahead drivers and kill at will, as long as you have the right of way.”
