Building Communities for Seniors: A Walking Tour of Broadway Auto Row in Oakland

From TransForm:

Learn about community planning for healthy seniors in Broadway Auto Row!

We will meet in the gardens behind Valdez Plaza (29th and Valdez) and then walk around the neighborhood envisioning changes that would support independent senior living.  We will show how a well placed bench, street lights, bus shelter and other key changes can improve safety, independence and the overall well being of our community.

This tour is part of TransForm's work to engage more people in local planning efforts as part of the Great Communities Collaborative.

RSVP: Shawn Rowland at 510.663.3830 or Shawn@EBHO.org.
