NOPA VELO’s Death-by-Duel: Lake Merced Ride
"Join NOPA VELO spins out for its second monthly ride to Lake Merced and back. Visit the NOPA street named for the victim of the dastardly death-by-duel between a U.S. Senator and a Supreme Court Justice, then count the paces at the Lake Merced shootout. Ride is an easy, flat 2.5 hour trek & all level riders welcome. Kids on own bike OK if with guardian. Drinks and lunch follow."

SFBC Service Station: Fell and Masonic
"Even with a bicycle traffic signal, drivers are still illegally turning left onto Masonic, endangering cyclists and pedestrians using the Panhandle path. The SF Bicycle Coalition is ramping up a campaign to push the San Francisco Police Department to step up their officer education over cyclist rights and increase enforcement city-wide to make sure cyclists and pedestrians are safe."
