SFBC Valet Bike Parking at A.C.T. Bike to the Theater: The Tosca Project
"Ride your bike to the American Conservatory Theater for tonight's performance of The Tosca Project and let the SFBC volunteer Valet Bicycle Parking crew park your bike. This original dance-theater event explores a century in the life of North Beach nightspot Tosca Café, conjuring a world in which love, betrayal, and hope emerge from the shadows and disappear with the clink of a glass. The Tosca Project brings world-renowned dancers from San Francisco Ballet, including prima ballerina Sabina Allemann and Pascal Molat, together with such acclaimed actors as The Overcoat's Peter Anderson and A.C.T.'s Jack Willis. This imaginative new work is gorgeously choreographed, achingly moving, and scored with some of the best music ever made, from Hendrix to Stravinsky."

SFBC Treehouse Talk: SF Great Streets Project
"A year after its launch, the SF Bicycle Coalition's SF Great Streets Project has made its mark in getting great ideas quickly on the ground all across San Francisco. This project has helped shape the City's trial pedestrian plazas, its flexible parking program which allows businesses to re-adapt on-street parking spaces into places for cafe seating or bike parking, and its historic Market Street trials which are testing ideas, like forced right turns for private autos, in anticipation of the street's repaving in 2013. Kit Hodge, the project's director will share her ideas for what's next. Looking at examples from city's around the world, you'll learn more about exciting improvements that will create thriving streets that are inviting places to bike, walk, shop and live."
