Ice Cream Sunday Ride
"Join your fellow SFBC members on a fun & tasty ride to some of SF's top ice cream Shops! We'll ride and sample at least 6 top-rated creameries across the city where we'll stop to taste flavors and socialize. The ride will be a leisurely 10-12 miles with at least 6 shops and will include a few hills to work off the extra calories. Child riders (14 or younger) are discouraged, since this ride will require some skilled street riding. Bring a lock, water bottle, and ice cream money & hope for a hot day!"

Different Spokes Monthly Jersey Ride
"Come join Different Spokes (DSSF), the San Francisco Bay Area's GLBT cycling club for our monthly Jersey Ride, held the second Saturday of each month. All are welcome. The ride offers different distance and level options. The ride starts from Peet's in the Castro. There are three options so you can go at your own pace and distance. The rides split and regroup in Tiburon where we have lunch together as a group. Rain cancels."

SFBC Gas-Free Friday
"Declare your independence from oil when you pedal your way to an SFBC Energizer Station on Gas-Free Fridays to fuel up on coffee, tea and snacks. The SFBC wants to help more people substitute one short car trip with a bicycle trip just one day a week. In San Francisco, half of all driving trips are under two miles in length -- a distance easily traveled by bicycle. So, grab your bike and encourage a friend or coworker to go gas free."

SFBC Bike Buddy Route Ride: Civic Center to Ocean Beach via the Sunset
"The SFBC Bike Buddies hit the street to acquaint new riders with common or challenging bike commute routes in San Francisco with a Route Ride. An experienced bike commuter leads these rides at an easy pace; new riders are encouraged. In July, learn the best commute route from the Civic Center to Ocean Beach via the Sunset. If an impromptu Happy Hour ensues, even better! Heavy rain cancels."
