You can help ensure this crucial regional transit connection gets completed by telling the supes to stick with the original funding agreement, and not to bow to the Willie Brown-backed developers.

Join the SF Transit Riders Union Thursday for a pub-crawl-via-Muni fundraiser. The SFMTA will also hold a public hearing on Friday for street safety improvements on Columbus Avenue, Bay Street, and more. A celebration will also be held Saturday for Amelie Le Moullac's life, one year after she died in a SoMa truck crash.

This Week: Two Thursday Forums on SF’s Transportation Woes
This Thursday evening has two promising forums on transportation, unfortunately scheduled at the same time. The SF Bay Guardian will host a forum on "how to create the transportation system San Franciscans need," while a SPUR forum looks at why SF's parking problems could be temporary. Also, don't miss the final two Transportation 2030 community meetings on the November ballot measures in Districts 3 and 9.
