A different ride-hail service addressed Muni’s “zero mile” problem for me today after I gave up on a non-functioning Muni Metro (“inbound delay at Embarcadero” and “if you’re in a hurry try upstairs” we were told) and instead took Lyft, getting me to my appointment only 10 minutes late. The ride cost 4.5x as much as Muni, but it actually got me somewhere.
