SPUR visits two pioneering arts organizations whose new facilities have further catalyzed the Inner Mission’s role as a vibrant arts district within San Francisco. ODC Theater and Southern Exposure are celebrated creative hubs recognized for supporting cutting-edge artists. Mark Cavagnero of Mark Cavagnero Associates, architect for the just-completed renovation of the ODC Theater, and SoEx’s executive director Courtney Fink and designer Richard Johnson will discuss how the new facilities engage both the artists and the neighborhood.
