SF Bicycle Coalition Rec Ride: Birding by Bike
From SFBC:
Meet SF Bicycle Coalition members Annie and David Armstrong for Birding by Bike! Ride through the Presidio and Golden Gate Park, looking for winter residents and early spring arrival species. The route follows mainly bike routes and is around 20 miles with a total elevation of about 1300 feet so you’ll get a good workout too. Please bring water and a snack and don’t forget binoculars! David is an amateur ornithologist who has been birding and leading trips in the city for the last 12 years.
SF Bicycle Coalition recreational rides are free for SFBC members (a $5 donation from non-members is appreciated); rain cancels rides. Questions? Email Annie at aarmstrong_99@yahoo.com
