SFMTA Chinatown Community Meeting on Central Subway Construction
From SFMTA:
Construction of the Central Subway Chinatown Station is beginning soon. Construction will take place at and around the corner of Stockton and Washington streets, the future site of the station.
Please join us for a presentation on what you can expect while construction is underway. Members of the Central Subway project team and representatives of station contractor Tutor Perini will provide an overview of construction timelines and impacts and answer the community’s questions.
The Central Subway will extend the Muni Metro T Third Line through SoMa, Union Square and Chinatown, significantly improving transportation in some of San Francisco’s busiest neighborhoods and enhancing the Bay Area’s public transit network. It is scheduled to open in 2019.
