SF Bicycle Coalition & Exploratorium Rec Ride: Bicycles and the Human Machine
"The Exploratorium and SF Bicycle Coalition are teaming up to show the science of biking. Join Exploratorium educator Ken Finn and Exploratorium writer Robin Marks as they lead an 8-10 mile excursion through the physiology of exercise. Dissect chicken legs to identify muscle groups, trace the path of blood flow through a pig's heart, and take some measurements yourself as you challenge your body and take in some scenery on San Francisco's up and down (and sometimes flat) streets."

EBBC and Berkeley Bike Station Open House Party & Movie Night

On Wednesday August 4th, roll down, make use of the free valet bike parking, check out the multitude of bike racks and Alameda Bicycle's show room, and help the Bicycle Coalition warm up our new digs. We'll have food, locally brewed beer, and our new projector will be showing bikey films. Then, at 9:15, we'll walk to a nearby movie theater to watch Inception together."
