Tour de Peninsula 2010 Family Bike Ride
"A Bay Area cycling classic, the Tour de Peninsula recreational bike ride and family social gathering has been a highlight of the Bay Area cycling calendar for nearly 20 years, and is the largest urban-based organized bicycle ride in the Bay Area. The 'Dirty Shirt' ride is back, this time at a great location nudged a few yards to the south from '09. There are a variety of bicycle routes to suit every type of cyclist, and full day of family outdoor activities.

Hillsdale Station Area Plan Workshop
"The City of San Mateo is working with the community and its
stakeholders to prepare a Station Area Plan for the Hillsdale Caltrain
Station and area west of the Station. The plan will build upon planning
efforts previously completed along El Camino Real, Bay Meadows and the
station itself to plan for transit-oriented development, creating new
opportunities for a range of housing, jobs and improved/safer pedestrian
and bicycle connections to the station."

fundraising ride. Join hundreds of participants riding to promote lung
health and clean air policy in the greater Bay Area. Choose the route
that best suits your riding ability. Our four routes on the San
Francisco Peninsula range from a kid-friendly 10 mile route to a 62 mile
ride to test even the most seasoned biker. Bike 4 Breath is known for
beautiful scenery, great rest stop food, participant support provided by
a terrific group of volunteers and a delicious lunch waiting at the
finish line.
