San Francisco First City in the Nation to Count Its Parking Spaces
No sizable city in the country, or likely the world, has been able to say with any certainty how many parking spaces it has, public or private, until now. Streetfilms Screening and Party a Great Success
Thank you to all the good people who came out to enjoy the Streetfilms screening last night with founder Clarence Eckerson and Bay Area filmmakers Charlotte Buchen and John Hamilton. We had a packed house and the reaction to the films was very encouraging. A big thanks to Charlotte for the new Bay Area Street Portraits, beautiful vignettes of people in the Bay Area and the bicycles that make up an important part of their lives. It was also very nice to meet Sal and Antonio, two of the stars of the Portraits. We'll be posting those on the blog in the coming weeks.
