"Steven Peterson of the transit application organization Routesy will join Todd Spiekerman and Carol Kuester, who manage the Bay Area’s Metropolitan Transportation Commission’s 511.com service, to discuss the hurdles and success stories of their interactive transit planning website. 511.com has successfully tied together data from transit services throughout the Bay Area, making it possible to easily plan trips on transit, even across multiple services. Routesy, meanwhile, has shown that the private sector can compete, combining smoothly integrated transit data with the portability of the iPhone. Ladies Go Biking Ride
"Join ladies who bike on a ride around the city to get moving again after the holiday season. The ride will go out to the ocean, around Lake Merced, then back up Sloat and Monterey and then a stop for a lunch/snack in Glen Park before the ride back through the Mission to Peet's. Intermediate Level. elevation: 1,344 ft. Distance 19.8 miles. This is a road bike only ride, however all levels welcome as everyone rides at their own pace and with those of a similar skill level."
