This Week in Livable Streets Events

It’s a quiet holiday week on the Livable Streets Events calendar, but be sure to check out the Muni safety hearing today and the World AIDS Day Ride on Sunday if you’re in town. We’ll be posting today, but plan on taking the rest of the week off. Have a happy Thanksgiving!

Monday: Board of Supervisors Committee Hearing on Muni Crime and Safety. The MTA and SFPD will update the public on the Bus Inspection Program and TransLink use by officers. Muni riders are also strongly encouraged to show up and tell their stories of seeing crime (or police) on Muni. 11 a.m.
Sunday: World AIDS Day Ride. Positive Pedalers is facilitating this ride to "bring awareness to the AIDS pandemic and how it still affects millions of people throughout the world." 7:30 a.m.
