This Week: The Future of Caltrain, Winter Solstice Ride

At a meeting in San Carlos tonight, you can share your ideas on the future of Caltrain. Also this week, the SFBC holds advocacy strategy meetings in SoMa and the Mission, the city hosts a meeting on Geary BRT, and Rock the Bike celebrates the Winter Solstice.

Here are all of this week’s calendar highlights:

    • Monday: Friends of Caltrain will hold a community meeting with Caltrain staff at the San Carlos Library to field input on an update to the agency's strategic plan. 7:00 p.m.
    • Monday and Wednesday: The SF Bicycle Coalition will discuss advocacy strategies to promote safer streets for biking in SoMa (Monday) and the Mission (Wednesday). 5:30 p.m.
    • Tuesday: Get the latest on the proposed design of Geary Bus Rapid Transit at a community meeting at the Main Public Library. 5:30 p.m.
    • Saturday: Rock the Bike is hosting the Solstice Sunset Beach Party Ride on the shortest day of the year. Attendees will ride to Ocean Beach to watch the sunset before heading back into the city. 3:30 p.m.

Keep an eye on the calendar for updated listings. Got an event we should know about? Drop us a line.
