Author Benjamin Ross is in town to discuss his new book about the approaching end of suburban sprawl, and Bayview and Dogpatch get another opportunity to enjoy Sunday Streets.
Here are this week’s calendar highlights:
- Thursday: Benjamin Ross speaks twice about his new book, Dead End: Suburban Sprawl and the Rebirth of American Urbanism, exploring lessons from suburbia. He’ll be at SPUR’s lunchtime forum at 12:30 p.m., and at Green Arcade bookstore at 7 p.m.
- Sunday: Sunday Streets: Come out and enjoy car-free streets like Third Street in Bayview and the Dogpatch. 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
