Oakland Bicycle & Pedestrian Advisory Committee

11:55 PM PST on December 4, 2011

On the agenda for the December meeting is an update from the City on the Lake Merritt BART Station Area Plan. Currently, they are proposing bike lanes on many of the streets around Lake Merritt BART, but not on 8th and 9th Streets through Chinatown. We need to keep the pressure on the City to extend the bike lanes through Chinatown.
