Greenbelt Alliance: Planning for Change, Speaking with Authority

Join Greenbelt Alliance and local host, the Mountain View Coalition for Sustainable Planning, for Speaking with Authority, the third workshop in thePlanning for Change advocate training series.

For the Speaking with Authority training, Greenbelt Alliance Communication Director Jennifer Gennari will be teaching advocates how to communicate effectively with elected officials. We’ll be going over things like:
- how to have a productive conversation when you sit down with an official one-on-one
- how to speak with confidence and get results when making comments during a public meeting
- and more!
Jennifer will be assisted by experienced public speaker and local resident Ellen Lee Gibson.
This event is free but you must RSVP. A light dinner will be served at 6 p.m. The workshop will begin at 6:30 p.m.
