Blessing of the Bikes and Sustainable Solutions Bike Tour

Join us for our first ever Blessing of the Bikes
MLK Jr Civic Center Park
MLK Jr. Way between Allston Way and Center Street, Berkeley
May 5, 11:00am - noon

To launch National Bike Month this May, the EBBC will host its first-ever Blessing of Bicycles. Bring your bike to be blessed by interfaith clergy and spiritual teachers. Mayor Tom Bates and EBBC director Renee Rivera will present. Bike bells and cameras encouraged. Free event.

Sustainable Solutions Family-Friendly Bike Tour
MLK, Jr Civic Center Park, meet by the fountain
May 5, noon - 5:30pm
Take an inspiring bike tour to learn about climate realities and climate solutions. We will visit shining examples of Berkeley's sustainability including school gardens and local businesses. Co-sponsored by EBBC, Buy Local Berkeley, Transition Berkeley and 350.org. Free event with suggested donation of $10
