Walk SF Guided Walk: A Visit to Visitacion Valley
From Walk SF:
Join Walk San Francisco and Transbay Blog author Eric Chase on a visit to Visitacion Valley, tucked away between McLaren Park and the San Francisco Bay. We’ll learn about some recent and upcoming urban planning projects in the area, visit local plazas, parks, and community gardens, and take a climb up Bayview Hill for spectacular views of the city and the Bay.
We’ll finish with a bite to eat at a local joint (optional) and if you’re not done walking for the day, it’s a quick trip from the end of our route to enjoy car-free Sunday Streets in the Bayview (find out more at SundayStreetsSF.com).
