From SF Bike Coalition:
Mayor Lee and the Board of Supervisors are holding a series of town hall meetings to talk about the city budget. This is a rare chance for you to meet with these key decisionmakers in person to speak up for more city investment in biking. Did you know that an incredibly tiny 0.46% of the MTA capital budget is spent on biking, and even less in that agency’s operating budget? Attend your local town hall to speak up for funding for immediate improvements to biking on major bikeways, fixing troublesome hot spots along your favorite routes and keeping our streets smooth and well marked.
