SFMTA Open House for 22-Fillmore Improvements

From SFMTA:

Join us at an open house to learn about proposed improvements to the 22 Fillmore!

January 14, 2015 from 6 to 7:30 at Marshall Elementary School, 1575 15th Street

Muni is working on multiple fronts to make getting around San Francisco safer and more reliable. As part of this effort, we are upgrading transit corridors throughout the city, including the 22 Fillmore. Proposed improvements on 16th Street between Church and 3rd streets are designed to reduce transit travel time along the length of the corridor by 25%.

Proposed changes will:
    • Establish transit-only lanes to allow transit vehicles to efficiently move transit service and minimize delays.
    • Improve the pedestrian environment with new or wider sidewalks and streetscape amenities
    • Create a comfortable and attractive bicycle route along 17th Street
    • Expand the current overhead wire system to allow for zero-emission transit service into Mission Bay
Your feedback is important to refining these proposals. Join staff at any time during the open house to ask questions and discuss these improvements.
Learn more about the 22 Fillmore Transit Priority Proposal online. If you are unable to attend or would like to provide comments online, a survey will be available soon!
