"Have you ever wondered what it would be like to ride your bicycle across the country? Or even just use two wheels to go camping in Marin? If you've never toured before, you'll be amazed at what the bicycle and its engine (you!) can accomplish. This workshop will go over the basics of bicycle touring -- what you need, what you don't need, and best practices to keep you happy and healthy on the road. You are encouraged to bring your bicycle to check if it is suitable for touring. This workshop will prepare you for the SFBC Get Out of Town Weekend Ride on March 19-21."
