Safe walking: An environmental right or a utopian fantasy?

Presented by Rajiv Bhatia – Director of Occupational and Environmental Health, SFDPH

Dr. Bhatia will be presenting on: some gaps in traditional approaches to pedestrian safety; international research regarding interventions to address environmental policy and design gaps in support of safer conditions; local environmental health research and tools; and potential next steps in support of a vision of safer pedestrian conditions in San Francisco.
