Mission Community Market – 2011 Grand Opening

* Show your love for San Francisco's first mural! Hidden for over 200-years in Mission Dolores, it has been reproduced and painted at the site of the Mission Community Market. Muralists Jet Martinez, Ezra Eismont, and Bunnie Reiss will unveil the mural with Ben Wood, the visual artist who documented the mural.

* District 9 Supervisor David Campos will address the community and open up the first MCM of 2011.

* Diana Gameros and her trio will play from their new project.

* Moving Beyond Productions, youth dance group from the Marsh Youth Theater, will perform in the street.

* Mixtiso Latin Hip Hop Dance will perform in the street.

2011 STREET FOODS INCLUDE:
4505 Meats, Chaac Mool in the La Cocina Cart, Good Foods BBQ, Sweet Constructions, Chile Lindo empanadas, Mission Pie, Arizmendi Bakery, and more!

2011 PLAY STREET AND COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES:
Youth dance, music, arts and health programs with the Mission Beacon, CARECEN, Urban Sprouts, Dolores Community Youth Alliance, Moving Beyond Productions, Marsh Youth Theater.
