PedalFest is coming to Oakland on October 22nd: the EBBC co-presents a fun-filled day of cycling celebration

The East Bay Bicycle Coalition is excited announce an incredible bike festival in Oakland: PedalFest.

Pedalfest is a festival for the recreational rider and the seasoned cyclist, as well as the casual observer, showcasing what makes cycling such an popular activity for individuals, groups and families.

We have been working for months, in partnership with Walk Oakland Bike Oakland, Jack London Square and Michael Stangl of East Bay Bike Party to bring you an awesome bike event at Jack London Square this October. PedalFest, sponsored by New Belgium Brewing, Jack London Square and others, will be all about getting people on their bikes, allowing them to experience firsthand the benefits of everyday riding.

Enjoy a pedal-powered sound stage, folding bike races, bicycle trial demos, bike safety programs, bike pedal rides, bicycle rodeo, bike parade, food vendors, live music, and a New Belgium beer garden are just some of the events scheduled for the celebration!

We can’t wait to see you there! Come out and volunteer to help with our valet bike parking, outreach, pouring beer, and helping out with our activities, or just come enjoy the festival and raise a (beer) glass to a great event celebrating our rich and diverse bike culture here in the East Bay.

All proceeds from the New Belgium beer gardens go to benefit the bicycle advocacy work of the East Bay Bicycle Coalition and Walk Oakland Bike Oakland.

Sign up here to volunteer for bike valet and outreach at this event!
