From SFBP:

December Theme: Aurora Borealis

[Next ride Friday, December 2 at 7:30PM ~ Starting at Portrero Del Sol Park ~ Route Map.... ]

Winter may be cold, and winter may be dark, but winter also brings Aurora Borealis — the Northern Lights! Walk outside on a cold December evening, and at some latitudes you’ll see the mysterious, shimmering green glow that illuminates the heavens.

This December 2nd, we’ll light up San Francisco with our own rolling Aurora. Our bikes, festooned with even more lights than usual, will blaze a route through the many neighborhoods known for light displays that brighten even the darkest winter night.

Bring your blinkies, bring your Xmas lights, bring your glowing light saber, and help us illuminate the city of our dreams!
