East Bay Bus Rapid Transit Public Workshop San Antonio District

12:21 AM PST on February 20, 2012

From EBBC:

After many years of waiting, the public can finally take a close look at the much anticipated environmental report for the East Bay Bus Rapid Transit Project. The report includes designs for bike lanes on Telegraph Avenue in Oakland and on E. 12 St in the East Lake District and we are happy to report that the new buses will be bike-friendly with space inside of the cars for bike storage. Most importantly, the East Bay Bus Rapid Transit Project promises to significantly increase walking, biking and transit usage on Telegraph Ave and International Blvd. corridors. You can also learn more about the bike lanes included in the project at an upcoming public workshop starting February 23 thru March 21 (see below), which we will keep you updated about.
