Key Meeting: this workshop is the only workshop along the Telegraph Ave corridor. It is our best chance to gain support for Bus Rapid Transit up Telegraph Avenue in North Oakland. Please attend and help spread the word. We need a lot of people in attendance.
After many years of waiting, the public can finally take a close look at the much anticipated environmental report for the East Bay Bus Rapid Transit Project. The report includes designs for bike lanes on Telegraph Avenue in Oakland and on E. 12 St in the East Lake District and we are happy to report that the new buses will be bike-friendly with space inside of the cars for bike storage. Most importantly, the East Bay Bus Rapid Transit Project promises to significantly increase walking, biking and transit usage on Telegraph Ave and International Blvd. corridors.
